This terrific material is a Mogador. You take a very fine cotton warp and lot\'s and lot\'s of silk picks in the weft. That doesen\'t come cheaply, but it\'s worth it, since it is the only way to achieve the ultra-fine rep and the robust, \"crunchy\" hand - cri de la soie as they say in France. Clear, vivid colours and woven in Italy as usual.
That cried out for a sharp cut, namely Pete with 5,5 cm blade and the tipping to match.
